SNOWPLOW FEES FOR 2007/08

For the 2007-2008 snow season, the ESTIMATED costs for plowing and sanding are about $45,000.00. Homeowners will pay 70% of the total cost (see Fee Schedule for more information). With 154 homes that results in a total cost of around $205.00 per homeowner. (45,000 divided by 154 X .70)

This will be billed in 2 installments, $100.00 at the end of November for the initial billing, Then, in March or April, after actual costs have been tallied, the final billing will be calculated. We hope it won't exceed $105.00, but it will depend on what kind of winter we have, and how our equipment holds up.

Last year the cost for the 2006-2007 snow season was about $58,000.00. We are hoping that with a flat fee contract with Jerry Palm for plowing that our costs will be lower this year. The variable in the cost will be determined by the amount of sanding and emergency plowing that Edelweiss will do in addition to the contracted work. This again will depend on weather and equipment.
