Annual Dues

$364.00 Residential Lots

Water Fees

$20.00/mo. ($240.00/yr.) for all homeowners, full or part time, billed bi-annually in October and April.  This if for use of 84,000 gallons per year with an additional $ .01/gal for additional usage.

Hose Bib fee (minimum fee)  $50.00/yr. billed annually 

$3,540.00 water hook-up fee for new construction.

 Please note!  The manager must be notified 24 hours in advance to oversee the water service line connection.  Additionally, all hook-ups to the EMC water system must be made using high density polyethylene and appropriate brass or fusion fitting to include an   Edelweiss water meter and mounting bracket.

Snowplowing Fees

For years 2007/2008, 70%

For years 2008/2009, 80%

For years 2009/2010, 90%

For years 2010/2011 and beyond, 100%

Snowplowing is billed 2-3 times per year, depending on snowfall and expenses. There is an initial billing in the fall with a final billing the following spring, after the total costs of snowplowing have been calculated.  Total costs depend on amount of snow, the amount of sanding done and repair and maintenance of equipment.

Garbage:  Full time residents contract with Methow Valley Sanitation for individual service. Cans are placed in the dumpster area at the utility building on Mondays for a weekly pick-up.

Part time residents are assessed $40.00/year and Campground lot owners are assessed $10.00/year for garbage pick-up at the dumpster.

Building Fees      

New Construction - $4,200 plus water hook-up fee of $3,540.

*$1,200 is payable when building plans are submitted to Architectural committee.  The balance of $3,000 is payable prior to commencement of construction and goes into a road maintenance and improvement account to offset expenses incurred by use of heavy equipment on Edelweiss road system.

The water hook-up fee is payable prior to connecting to the water system. 

Lot Improvements:  $250.00

Remodel or Additions Requiring a Building Permit:  $100.00

Central Sewage Fees

(Applies only to new construction for those lots on community drain fields)

$4400.00 two bedroom minimum, and $2200.00 for each additional bedroom

Access Keys

$7.00 First Key / $40.00 for replacement or extra key

Branch Chipping

$45.00/hr. (NOTE: cost to EMC is $70.00/hr)
